Greg DeFoor

Greg DeFoor, a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and licensed Business Broker, has forty years of accumulated knowledge and experience to utilize for the benefit of his clients.

A native of Birmingham, AL, Greg received his accounting degree from Auburn University. He began his career in public accounting before transitioning into eighteen years in private industry. Prior to starting his own firm, Greg spent fourteen years as an accounting and financial executive in the automotive dealership industry preceded by four years in healthcare financial management. Greg has been in the Atlanta area since 1995.

Greg has been a CPA since November of 1982. In 2009 he obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner designation. Greg is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and was the 2015-2016 President of the Georgia Association of Business Brokers.

Greg has provided CPA services to franchised auto dealers, educational institutions and clients in healthcare, specialty construction trades, real estate, property management, durable medical equipment, manufacturing, distribution, B2B services, consumer services and trucking. He has represented businesses in numerous industrial classifications as a business broker.

Since the fall of 2003, Greg has been a high school football official. He has also served on several committees of the Georgia Society of CPAs, served a total of eight years on the board of GABB, and has been a board member of several nonprofit organizations.
